The right voice matters.
At the end of the day, you do this work because you want people to thrive, at work and at home.
So is it working? Is your wellness content driving the outcomes that matter to your clients-- like increased retention, performance, and reduced workplace stress? Does your content cut through the noise to engage employees in making real changes, at the company and in their lives?
Corporate health and wellness is a game-changer, for employees and for the bottom line. But the corporate wellness field has become noisy and crowded with different players, all jostling for a space. How can your clients tell you'll be an effective partner? With so much clutter in the marketplace, the right voice matters.
I'm a voiceover artist with a passion for health, wellness, and neuroscience. Let's work together to make sure your wellness content cuts through the noise and makes an impact your clients can cheer about.

Three Reasons The Right Voice Matters
Connection
You tailor content so your audience can connect on a personal level. So you need a voice that connects on a personal level, too. The architecture of the human brain and nervous system is sensitive; many of the voices and personalities delivering health and wellness content in today's marketplace maybe experts on the content, but may be sending subtle (or not-so-subtle) stress signals to your audience. Or, they may fail to gain their trust. I've spent years learning about the neuroscience of connection and trust, and as a voiceover artist, I calibrate my delivery to achieve this. Read more on the neuroscience of the human voice on my blog.

Engagement
You spend money and effort to ensure employee engagement. Interactive elements, relatable narratives, and user-friendly formats go to waste if people don't want to listen to the person who is speaking to them. The average person decides whether to keep listening to a podcast or watching a video within two seconds. This decision happens below the threshold of the conscious brain, in the subcortical brain, which responds to subtle variations in the human voice. You need a voice that hooks people's attention, maintains their interest, and sparks motivation.

Minimize Distraction
Employees encounter a million distractions that can keep them from engaging meaningfully with a health and wellness initiative. The voice delivering the content should NOT be a distraction from the message. If you want employees to engage meaningfully with wellness content, absorb vital information, and implement healthier habits into their daily routines, the voice you use needs to blend seamlessly with your presentation, guiding users on a journey into their wellness.
